历史沿革：

企业的雏形，是华东地区最早的民营种业经营者之——水海明先生，创立的嘉兴蔬菜种子经营点。1990年，水炳荣先生继承父业，成立了水海明种子店，后于2009年联合其子——水晶晶先生，改组成立了嘉兴先丰种业有限公司。历经发展，企业于2023年更名为浙江先丰种业有限公司。

公司自有种子办公、检验、仓储和加工用房2000余平方米，拥有全自动种子包装流水线3条、半自动种子包装流水线2条。公司在嘉兴市秀洲区新塍镇拥有科研示范用地78.6亩，规划总部建设面积4000余平方米。

浙江先丰种业植根浙北，历经三代人的努力，广泛开展科企合作，以“先丰优禾”品牌合作科研、繁育、生产、包装和销售良种种子，服务三农经济，营销网络已遍及江浙沪皖等区域，覆盖市场人口约2亿人。

Cephagri Seeds Limited

History:

In 1990, after his father’s name — Shui Haiming, who was one of the first private seed dealers in the Southeast of China and was just passed away, Mr. Shui Bingrong established the Shui Haiming Seed Shop. It was then restructured to become Jiaxing Xianfeng Seed Company in 2009 by the son of the owner— Mr. Shui Jingjing. Ultimately, the company renamed as Cephagri Seeds Limited in 2023, boasts a registered capital of 10 million yuan.

Cephagri Seeds Limited, situated in Jiaxing city — the historical birthplace of the Communist Party of China, enjoys an advantageous geographical location, about 80 kilometers away from the center of Shanghai, at the heart of the Hangzhou Bay Area.

Cephagri Seeds Limited is a comprehensive private enterprise that encompasses the cultivation, production, distribution, sales and technical services of crop and vegetable seeds.

We operates within an independently owned area of more than 2000 square meters, which includes sales stores, offices, seed inspection, storage, and processing facilities. Presently, we owns three fully automated seed packaging lines and two semi-automated ones.

We maintains 5.3 hectares of land for exhibition, research and production purposes. Additionally, we has planned an area of over 4000 square meters for the construction of the new headquarters.

With three generations continually focus on seed business, our marketing network has extended across cities in southeast of China, covering a vast expanse with population around 200 million.

Nowadays, as a member of the Asia Pacific Seed Association (APSA), Cephagri Seeds Limited stands at a new starting point, upholding the collaboration vision of working together for success with our research partners, suppliers and customers, will continually contribute to help transform the society in terms of agriculture sector through seed high technology development in the future.
