绣花锦，又名香金菜，是江南浙北地区特有的名菜。绣花锦菜外形与普通青菜相似，只是菜茎稍细，菜叶的边缘有细细的锯齿形，叶面上的脉络富有一种曲线美。株高约30厘米，邹叶，叶片较大，耐寒性强，抽苔较晚，炒食有香真播或育苗移栽均可，一段以真播为主，亩用种睡约400克，以看秋种值适宜，注意水肥清理和病虫防护。
